As he's known to do, DeMar DeRozan reached out to his Twitter followers to create a Kobe A.D. Mid colorway on NIKEiD that he'd eventually wear in a game. Not only has a winner been selected, but DeRozan is lacing up the design at Madison Square Garden tonight.

A 28-year old resident of Layton, Utah, Dell Treasure spoke about the simplicity of his white and gum design, telling Nike that he just wanted to create “a nice, clean sneaker that would work on a lot of different levels.”

Ahead of tonight's game, DeRozan explained why he selected this pair to debut in New York City.

“MSG is the last old-school arena in the NBA. It’s a throwback to a time where the game was the only thing that mattered, so I wanted to choose a fan design that was simple and reflective of that,” he says.

Look for these on the court tonight and make a pair of your own at nike.com.
