This past Oct. at its Investor Day event in Portland, Nike revealed that, along with the Kyrie 4, it would also be debuting a low-budget alternative for Kyrie Irving's signature line with an $80 price point.

Roughly a month later, there is a first look at what to expect from this new silhouette. The basic look of the model can be likened to the Kyrie 1 with its mesh upper, and shark teeth pattern present on the outsole. The first colorway revealed takes on a "U.S.A." colorway with a red, white, and navy blue mesh upper. With this shoe, Kyrie Irving joins the likes of his fellow Nike Basketball signature athletes with lower-tier signatures like LeBron James' Soldier, Kobe Bryant's Venomenon, and Kevin Durant's Trey 5 lines.

An official name and release date for this more affordable Kyrie basketball model have yet to be revealed, but expect them to debut at retailers in 2018 for $80.
