We've finally reached the point in the season when LeBron James strays away from his latest signature shoe.
In recent games, James has opted for the Nike LeBron Soldier 11 and the LeBron 14, leaving customers questioning the reliability of the LeBron 15. While James hasn't commented on the switch, he's had issues re-injuring a sprained left ankle since the preseason. It's possible that he changed things up to deal with the injury, though he did finish Friday's game against the Hornets in the LeBron 15 after a subpar first half in the 14. James has had problems with his signature sneakers since openly being critical of the Nike LeBron 11's feel in 2013.
Not having any issues with their respective signature models are Kyrie Irving and Paul George, who continue to impress with fresh colorways and concepts. Both stars are expected to introduce new models later this season.
