It's probably been a while since Michael Jordan has done any of his own shopping, but thanks to the internet, there's evidence that he did in fact handle his "purchases" once upon a time.
Spotted by Adam Ryan, aka Twitter's @InAllAirness, in a rare documentary called Michael Jordan & Co is a clip in which Jordan and teammates Charles Oakley and Sam Vincent visit Nike while in Portland. Employees specifically sat aside a pair of the Air Ace 3/4 for Jordan, whose haul was so large that it had to be shipped to his home.
It was a pivotal year for Jordan's relationship with Nike. After Jordan was reportedly looking to get out of his contract with the brand, Tinker Hatfield delivered the Air Jordan 3 and convinced him to stay. Almost 30 years later, Jordan Brand is its own $3 billion business.
