This past Saturday, the most limited pair of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 to date released. Although a lot of people were not very fond of the brightly colored "Semi Frozen Yellow" iteration of the model, limited drops will always cause a scene no matter what.
One such instance was posted by Ben Baller on his Twitter account. The video shows a mob scene outside of Nice Kicks boutique in downtown Los Angeles. What appears to be thousands of people are camped out in front of the store, but this was not just a regular line up that wrapped around a few city blocks—the entire street area in front of the shop was sectioned off with police tape, leaving the crowd to look more like the pit of one of Kanye's "Saint Pablo Tour" live shows than a sneaker release.
If there's any positive to gain from this ridiculous scene, the video did not seem to indicate any rowdiness or violence, something we have seen from other hyped releases as of late. For anyone who did not get to grab a pair this past weekend, fear not—Yeezy Season is in full effect, and the "Beluga 2.0" is dropping this Saturday, Nov. 25.
