Perhaps the defining moment of 2017, Donald Trump and LaVar Ball recently engaged in a war of words over what Trump believes is an ungrateful response to his alleged involvement in securing LiAngelo Ball's return home from China. Ball was one of three UCLA basketball players accused of shoplifting while on a team trip. The elder Ball addressed his feud with Trump in an interview with CNN last week, proving to be the perfect foil for the brand of buffoonery taking place in the White House these days. Despite being given 22 minutes of airtime to share his thoughts, LaVar isn't done talking Trump.

TMZ cameras caught up with the Ball family as they went to dinner over the weekend, specifically asking LaVar about beating Trump at his own game. Doing what he does best, the CEO of Big Baller Brand turned the feud into a marketing opportunity.

“Check this out, I’m going to send Trump some ZO2s," Ball told TMZ. "We just got them out, man, we putting them on flight today, today is the 24th, and I said we’re shipping out ZO2s. You know what, I got to ship some to Trump so he can calm down a little bit."

"Them ZO2s is coming for you Trump. Remember you put them on, you're going to ease up a little bit."

The ZO2 Prime Remix, which retails for $495, is the debut signature shoe of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball. If there's anybody who doesn't need a free pair, it's a man worth $3.1 billion.
