The early frontrunner for MVP this season is new Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving, who has led the team to 14-straight victories, despite losing Gordon Hayward to a season-ending injury in the first game. Perhaps the most impressive win in the streak occurred earlier tonight, when Irving's Celtics topped the defending champion Golden State Warriors in a thriller at home.
Down as many as 17, the Celtics stormed back to pull out a 92-88 victory at the Garden. Irving, who came alive late, finished with 16 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. He did his work in two different colorways of the Kyrie 3—the "Luck" player edition releasing at House of Hoops tomorrow and the "Mom" Sneaker Room collaboration expected to be available in some capacity soon.
According to reports, the Kyrie 3 is the best selling signature sneaker in basketball right now. While the Kyrie 4 hasn't leaked yet, a Kyrie-inspired hybrid will be making its way to retail soon.
