Nike needs to push forward with whatever plans it has to correct the issue of its unintentional tear-away NBA jerseys.
Tonight, while battling for a rebound against the Indiana Pacers, Philadelphia 76ers rookie Ben Simmons had his jersey nearly completely ripped off. He joins a list that also includes LeBron James, Draymond Green, Tyler Ennis and Nikola Jokic.
In an interview last month, Nike CEO Mark Parker acknowledged the problematic lightweight jerseys, telling CNBC that the company has "isolated the issue" and has "command of the situation." Meanwhile, high-profile players are regularly having complications with their jerseys. Nike hasn't yet elaborated on its plans for a fix.
