Over the summer, Jordan Brand celebrated the North Carolina Tar Heels' national championship by gifting the team exclusive colorways of the Air Jordan 6 Retro. The model will continue to wear UNC colors this winter, but on a shoe that will be widely available to the public.
Though no logos make a direct connection to the school, the black-based shoe with Infrared-style blocking features color detailing inspired by Michael Jordan's alma mater. Familiar elements, such as a nubuck upper and icy translucent outsole were carried over.
The "UNC" Jordan 6 is set to release on Saturday, Dec. 2 for $190 at nike.com and Jordan retailers.
