Adidas recently introduced a new cleat that it's claiming to be the lightest in football, the Adizero 5-Star 7.0 Primeknit.
The shoe takes inspiration from some of the brands most popular sneakers—elements of the Ultra Boost and NMD can be seen in the shoe's one-piece Primeknit construction. It also features a lightweight TPU toecap for durability and support. The cleat weighs in at 8.6 ounces, which is an ounce lighter than the previous lightest cleat. Additional details include the "speed of light" graphic pattern, Three Stripes branding on the toe cap, Adidas' "Badge of Sport" logo on the medial side, and a black pull tab on the heel.
The Adizero 5-Star 7.0 Primeknit will release on Nov. 24, 2017, for $150 at Adidas.com and select Adidas retailers.
