Are Golden State Warriors teammates Steph Curry and Kevin Durant actually beefing over sneakers? Despite the back and forth between them regarding their respective sponsors, it doesn't really seem like it.
Curry fired the most recent missive, posting a photo with Durant prominently displaying his Nike Flyknit Trainers on his Instagram. There are no Under Armour sneakers on display in the image, despite the looming release of Curry's next signature model. The photo is accompanied by the caption "Why so serious?!?" and #sneakerwars.
Curry and Durant's current sneaker spat started in August when the latter suggested that "nobody wants to play in Under Armours." Curry has since said that he and Durant discussed the comment privately.
