Nike isn't done celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 1 just yet. The brand has plans to bring back the original "Obsidian" colorway of the classic running sneaker, and will give it the same remastered-style treatment as the original blue and red versions got this year.

Like those pairs, this Air Max 1 will come in a grey and orange box referencing Nike packaging of old. It's also got a redone shape and materials meant to recreate those used on the original.

This Nike Air Max 1 colorway has been back in retro form before, having last released in 2013.

Nike has not confirmed a sneaker release date for this shoe. This silhouette first released in 1987, but this colorway didn't debut until 1988, so a 30th anniversary pair would make sense in 2017 or 2018.
