The first Nike Air VaporMax to ever release, a limited Comme des Garçons collaboration, didn't have laces on it. From there the shoe got more standard, and the regular retail pairs feature traditional lacing. It won't always be that way though—a non-Comme laceless VaporMax just launched globally via inline and custom pairs.

Nike announced on Thursday that the above shoe, billed as the VaporMax Flyknit SE, can be customized on NIKEiD now. There's a catch, though: the shoes are available everywhere but North America, where Nike says they'll be up for purchase "soon."

The inline VaporMax Flyknit SE is also available globally on Nike's SNKRS app, with a North America launch to come in December.

The options for the laceless VaporMax on SE, which sells for €230, include four Flyknit color bases and three different choices for the Air bag.
