Nike will once again reference its part in the Back to the Future film franchise with a footwear release pulled from it. This time the brand will release the Nike Vandal in a "Doc Brown" colorway matching the pair worn by that character in the first Back to the Future movie from 1985.

While Nike hasn't announced the shoes, U.K. retailer End Clothing posted on Twitter on Friday about them releasing on Oct. 21. No other retailers have confirmed a sneaker release date for this piece of footwear.

Nike has built excitement around the Vandal recently with the retro of an original colorway and a collaboration with menswear brand John Elliot.
