While being treated for sickle cell anemia, 11-year old Amyiah Robinson wanted to honor one of her heroes from back home in Oklahoma.

Robinson, who moved to Portland with her family in 2015, not only created the Doernbecher Nike Air Max Thea Ultra Flyknit, but designed a matching Nike KD 10. One of the 3 existing pairs was gifted to Kevin Durant himself. Another will stay with Amiyah, while a third was auctioned off for charity, raising $35,000 for Doernbecher Hospital.

Amiyiah's colorful Air Max Thea Ultra Flyknit will be one of the 6 shoes releasing on Nov. 18 at nike.com and select Nike retailers.
