The first week of the 2017-18 NBA season is in the books, which means it's time for us to run down the players who are wearing the best sneakers around the league.

The NBA #SoleWatch Power Rankings are determined by a bevy of factors, including quality, originality, exclusivity, consistently freshening up the rotation, the element of surprise and cultural impact. For example, LeBron James wore three different colorways of the Nike LeBron 15 this past week, highlighted by an "Equality" PE that sent a strong message and made national headlines. New Minnesota Timberwolves guard Jimmy Butler didn't get the press, but his Air Jordan 10 PE was completely unexpected with every other member of Team Jordan wearing Air Jordan 32s. Guys like Kyrie Irving and Paul George are kicking off seasons with new teams by bringing some fresh flavors to last year's signature models.

Overall, it was a very strong start to a new season of sneaker watching. See which players cracked the Top 10 this week below.
