Throughout the preseason, New York Knicks guard Tim Hardaway Jr. took the court in the Air Jordan 32 Low. In a game against the Washington Wizards last Friday, he even broke out his own Player Exclusive colorway of the model. Now, he's confirming a deal that makes him one of the newest members of Jordan Brand.
Hardaway, who played last season as a sneaker free agent after spending his first three seasons with Adidas, explained how the deal came about in an interview with Slam.
"After the season, I was talking to my agent [about brands] and told him, ‘Hey, what’s up with Jordan? I don’t care what they give me, it’s just the honor to be able to play for the Jumpman and go out there and represent him in a great way.’ That was the pitch I gave them. And then my pops tried to talk to Jordan personally."
Per Hardaway, expect him to play in a variety of Knicks-flavored Air Jordan 32 PEs, along with the occasional retro this season.
