The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 quickly became one of the most bootlegged contemporary sneakers after its release, with budget brands aping its style and counterfeit producers trying to fool shoppers into thinking their wares were the real thing. So heavy is the presence of pairs both fake and real in China that pop star and rapper Kris Wu says he's over the shoes.
"Everyone's on these, man, but there are so many fake ones in China," Wu said on the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping. "They look exactly the same, too. To be honest, man, I'm over the Yeezys now. When they first came out it was super dope."
Despite skipping out on the Yeezys, Wu still manages to spend almost $7,000 in sneakers in the episode above.
