Continuing to put the spotlight on the One Star silhouette, Converse has collaborated with Engineered Garments' Daiki Suzuki for four new special edition colorways of the model.

For the collection, Suzuki reinvents the One Star by adding new details and accents that connect to his personal relationship with Converse, as well as the brand's history. The classic One Star logo, Star Chevron, and Stars and Bars logos are all displayed, connecting to different eras across the brand's timeline.

"When approached with the project to work with Converse the idea came from wanting to tell a bit of the history of the company, first and foremost. Chuck Taylor, for us is a perfect shoe that we weren’t sure we could add or subtract to, its remained almost unchanged all this time. The One Star or rather the iterations after the “Leather All Star” was a canvas we thought could be mined to create something new," Suzuki says in an official statement from Nike

The Converse x Engineered Garments One Star Collection debuts Oct. 4 exclusively at Nepenthes in New York City, with a wider release at Converse stores and converse.com taking place Oct. 5. All pairs will be $110.
