What do you do with your Adidas sneakers after signing an endorsement deal with Nike? Let the your family have them, apparently. That's what happened to model Bella Hadid's Adidas Yeezy Boosts when she inked her partnership with the Swoosh.
"My mom took those, and I got really mad at her," Hadid says in the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping. "'Cause I was like, 'Those are some collector shit.'"
She goes on to say that she only has Nikes—around 200 of them—in her closet now.
Adidas athlete James Harden told a similar story in 2016, saying he gave all his old Nikes to his mom and let her do whatever she wanted with them.
