Tipoff of the NBA season is right around the corner, and Jordan Brand has two different versions of its latest performance shoe on deck for the upcoming campaign.
The brand will be celebrating its namesake’s own day when the “MJ Day” Air Jordan 32s drop alongside the first low-cut version of the model on Oct. 18. The recently created holiday commemorates the anniversary of the NBA’s banning of a shoe that may have been the original “Bred” Air Jordan 1 (but mostly likely wasn’t).
October isn’t all about new models, though—a few noteworthy retros will be releasing, too. First up are two China-exclusive colorways of the Air Jordan 13 that pay tribute to Jordan's final retirement. An OG favorite will be back when the "Royal” Air Jordan 1 returns, albeit in Flyknit form. Jordan Brand also has a collaborative Air Jordan 1 on the way with artist Pomb as part of Latin History Month.
