While young rapper A Boogie wit da Hoodie (born in 1995) missed a good portion of Michael Jordan's heyday, that hasn't stopped him from forming a partnership with Jordan Brand and even meeting the basketball legend. In his episode of Sneaker Shopping, the Bronx native talks about performing at the 2017 Jordan Brand Classic, where he was introduced to MJ.
"It was like, 'Damn, I'm really standing right in front of Michael Jordan wearing his Jordans,'" he says. A Boogie adds that he was more nervous to meet Jordan than he was to meet Jay Z.
In addition to performing at the Jordan Brand Classic, A Boogie also appeared in a campaign for the Jordan Formula 23 sneaker.
