Ronnie Fieg is once again planning to extend the scope of his brick and mortar business, and has confirmed that he's working on a new store in an interview with Complex. The Kith founder has not shared many details about what's to come, specifying only that he's opening a three-story space where he'll launch an upcoming line of Kith x Scottie Pippen x Nike sneakers.
"There’s not much more I can say about that," Fieg told Complex. "I can say we’re opening a building, we’re gonna leave the rest of the details for another time."
Some of those details may have already been spoiled months back, though. Bowery Boogie, a site focused on New York City's Lower East Side and the surrounding neighborhoods, reported in April 2017 that a collaborative Kith x Nike space was rumored to be coming to 337-339 Lafayette St., which is a mere block away from Kith's Manhattan location.
When reached by Sole Collector for comment about such a store in April, Fieg dismissed it as a rumor.
Bowery Boogie puts the opening for the rumored Kith x Nike store at around December 2017.
