In the world of sneakers, nothing is hotter at the moment than Virgil Abloh's Off-White x Nike collaboration. Not only is everybody trying to get their hand on a pair from the collection, but NFL players are even having their cleats customized to resemble shoes from the lineup.
With the help of Mache, New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas will soon take the field in Off-White-inspired Nike Field General cleats. According to Mache, he wanted to make the cleats look like they were made by Abloh himself. Grey pig suede overlays were added to the upper, along with a completely redesigned tongue. The Off-White-style branding was also personalized for Thomas.
Thomas isn't the only wide receiver turning hypebeast sneakers into cleats. This past week, Odell Beckham Jr. was spotted warming up in Supreme x Air More Uptempos.
