Ronnie Fieg's upcoming capsule collection with Nike that features various models from Scottie Pippen's signature line has become one of the most talked about collaborations of the year. Ahead of the release of the collection, which features colorways of the Nike Air Pippen dressed in pony hair and a reworked version of the Air Maestro 2, Kith and Nike have released a short film starring the Hall of Famer.
The short film titled "Take Flight" was created in celebration of Pippen's 52nd birthday, and also stars his son Scottie Pippen Jr. The film depicts classic plays across Pippen's career being recreated by players on a streetball court, such as his iconic dunk over Patrick Ewing in Game 6 of the 1994 Eastern Conference Semifinals.
"Take Flight" also marks the directorial debut for Ronnie Fieg. To roll out this upcoming release, Fieg has recreated Nike's classic phone number ads from the 1990s as well. No official release date has been announced, but expect the Kith x Nike Pippen collection to release in the coming weeks.
