Mache Customs is back with another pair of custom cleats for Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Diggs will be wearing this special pair tonight during the Vikings' Monday Night Football season opener against the New Orleans Saints.
These custom cleats honor retired wide receiver and Vikings legend Randy Moss. Each cleat is painted with an iridescent purple base coat to match the Vikings' main team color. Each is also accented with "Moss" and his number "84" written repeatedly on each toe box. The standout details of the pair are paintings of Moss on each heel. One is a portrait of Moss's rocking a full afro with his tongue sticking out. The other heel depicts the infamous moment when Moss mimicked mooning the Green Bay Packers fans at Lambeau Field during a touchdown celebration. Diggs is wearing Moss-inspired cleats to pay homage to the iconic receiver on the same night he is being enshrined into the Vikings Ring of Honor.
This is not the first time Mache has cooked up a special pair for Diggs. Last season, he designed cleats inspired by the Fear Of God x Vans Era collaboration, and he also did a Starbucks-themed pair for Diggs to rock in a preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks this past August.
