Aware that his athleticism was diminishing, Michael Jordan refined his game after returning in 1995. One of his primary weapons was the fadeaway jumper, a virtually unguardable shot that would later be inherited by Kobe Bryant. Next year, Jordan Brand will reportedly pay homage to the more skilled version of MJ with a new colorway of the Air Jordan 7.
According to ZSneakerheadz, the "Fadeaway" Jordan 7 will be Bulls-inspired, with a predominantly red upper. A Photoshopped representation of the retro is pictured below, but one has to assume there will be more to the final product to fully carry out the theme. Perhaps there will be gradient fade detailing somewhere on the shoe.
While we don't know what the shoe looks like yet, there is early release information—expect the new colorway to drop on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 for $190.
