An annual tradition, MLB kicked off Labor Day Weekend with Childhood Cancer Awareness Day on Friday. As part of the initiative, players around the league are permitted to wear gold accessories and footwear to show support.

Making sure its players were properly laced for the occasion, Jordan Brand shipped golden Air Jordan 12 cleats to baseball athletes to wear on the field. Dexter Fowler, Mookie Betts and Manny Machado were among those in action last night.

Each year, an estimated 300,000 new cases of cancer affect children under the age of 20 worldwide. Visit Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) to find out more about how you can help.
