The date is 8.24, so fans across the world are celebrating Kobe Bryant Day (aka Mamba Day) by breaking out their best Kobe and Lakers gear. Among those getting in on the festivities is pro golfer Tony Finau, who teed off round one of The Northern Trust at Glen Oaks Club in a special pair of shoes.
Nike Golf tapped Nomad Customs to work on the Lunar Command 2. Not only were the shoes refreshed in purple and gold, but there's a snakeskin print pattern throughout the upper. Finau broke down what having the Mamba Mentality means to him:
