Nike has built energy around the Air Force 1 in the past year by bringing back old styles and dressing the model up in modern accoutrements. Here, the brand resurrects two 2003 pairs connected to Brazil's carnival celebration.

There hasn't been an official announcement from Nike around the shoes, although rumor has it they could be in stores for Aug. 19. Then again, anyone who is feeling particularly desperate for a pair shouldn't have a hard time finding either on eBay. While these were once reasonably coveted on the resell market, they don't fetch very high prices in 2017.

Other recently retroed Nike Air Force 1 styles include the "Linen" pair and the unexpected "Easter Egg" in patent leather.

UPDATE 8/16: Nike confirms that the "Carnival" pack will release on Aug. 19 at Nike.com, Nike SNEAKRS, and at select UK retailers.
