Jordan Brand looks back to Michael Jordan's second signature sneaker for the design of his thirty second, the new Air Jordan 32, which was officially unveiled on Tuesday. The shoe will release first in the "Rosso Corsa" colorway on Sept. 23, followed "Bred" versions of the regular mid ($185) and Low ($160) silhouette on Oct. 18.

The Air Jordan 32 has Flyknit uppers with high-tenacity yarn, Zoom Air bags and a Flight Plate in the sole, and herringbone traction.

According to Jordan Brand, the Flyknit upper is something of a breakthrough, rendering the shoe more flexible than any Air Jordan before it.

The sneaker was designed by Tate Kuerbis, who also designed the Jordan 18, Jordan 19, and Jordan 31. Its design inspiration is similar to the Jordan 31: That shoe looked to the Jordan 1 for cues, and this shoe pulls from the Jordan 2. Specifically, 32 channels the Italian heritage of the Jordan 2 and uses a similar toebox.

As has been the tradition recently, the shoe will be worn on court by Jordan Brand athlete Russell Westbrook.
