Diddy Says Jordan Approached Him About a Biggie Shoe

Diddy says Jordan Brand approached him about making Notorious B.I.G. Air Jordans to celebrate Biggie.

While there's never been an official pair of sneakers honoring late hip-hop legend The Notorious B.I.G., there have been a couple pitches to get such a project off the ground. In the latest episode of Sneaker Shopping from Complex, Bad Boy head and entertainment mogul Diddy gives a few details about those.

"We've been approached by Gucci, we've been approached by Brand Jordan," he says. "Not to reveal any business but, you may see a collaboration in the future—either with one of those two or with somebody else."

Diddy says that he was unsatisfied with early renderings of products that would have come from those projects, insisting that Biggie would not approve.

Diddy also explains in the clip that The Notorious B.I.G. was not the biggest sneakerhead, and that he preferred women and weed as his primary vices.
