Nike is celebrating the global reach of basketball with its latest collection of sneakers. The six pairs pictured of the Nike Hyperdunk 2017 Low are inspired by New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Manila, Beijing, and Madrid, respectively.
Each colorway displays its own distinct details to represent the associated city. These details include a New York blueprint map, Drew League references for the Los Angeles pair, concrete patterns for Manila's version alluding to the Tenement Court Taguig, and more. The shoes also make their inspirations apparent through the heels, where abbreviations for the respective metropolises are used.
Each pair is releasing individually throughout the end of July and the month of August as follows: Madrid (July 20), Beijing (Aug. 1), Chicago (Aug. 2), Los Angeles (Aug. 3). Specific dates aren't availale for New York and Manila, but they are also expected to release in August.
