Twenty years after Jordan Brand's first foray into mainland China, it celebrates with a new store location in Beijing.
Today marked the grand opening of Jordan 9 Guanghua, which will serve as a key source for pinnacle products and personalized Jordan experiences. The space features unique work by international artist Jayson Atienza, hyperlocal product customization, a regulation size basketball court, Flight Club services and Flight Lab testing.
“With its unique basketball and sneaker culture, Beijing is a natural fit for the brand’s presence in China,” Jordan Brand President Larry Miller told Nike. “We are excited to bring Jordan Brand’s vision to life in Beijing by creating a retail experience that not only pays homage to the brand’s legacy and the city’s culture, but also inspires the future.”
