Foot Locker Launch Reservation App

If there's anything that makes the already tedious process of buying sneakers these days even more annoying, it's the long wait times on splash pages at top retail websites. Hoping to simplify the process, Foot Locker Inc. is rolling out its Launch Reservation App Procedure out nationally, beginning with the "Cement" Air Jordan 5 Retro release next weekend.

A replacement for the former Sweepstakes procedure, the app-based launch procedure was implemented to keep customers safe and instill a sense of fairness. Foot Locker, Footaction and Champs Sports stores will all be participating.

Customers will have to download the app and sign up or login to select their preferred launch, shoe size and up to three store locations to begin the countdown clock. When the time winds down, customers will be notified of the outcome—win, wait list or try again next time. Winners will asked to present a photo ID and their unique confirmation code at the designated store.

Additionally, those who belong to the brands' respective loyal programs will receive "head starts" depending on the level of their loyalty status. "Head starts" can also be earned by checking in at Foot Locker stores.

Foot Locker Inc. piloted the app launch in 2016 at select locations, allowing them to test and tweak the app for an effective experience. Visit the launch reservation pages at Foot Locker, Footaction and Champs Sports for more information and download links.
