A prolific Florida conman is facing criminal charges after attempting to trick athletes and entertainers into giving him goods and services, the Miami Herald reports. Justin Jackson, who was arrested two months ago in Miami, was successful in a few instances, tricking Paul George, Victor Oladipo, and Richard Hamilton into sending him sneakers.

The Herald reports that Jackson would pose as the manager of British singer Adele and offer concert tickets in exchange for sneakers, purportedly for a charity auction. Beyond the above trio, he also unsuccessfully tried to scam Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, and Bismack Biyombo.

Jackson and his wife, Angel Lii, have been charged with felonies including identity theft and organized scheme to defraud. The duo was arrested in May during a sting operation in which they attempted to get free tickets to Miami’s Rolling Loud festival.

Jackson  served time for a similar crime after claiming to be associated with Madonna in order to acquire $2.4 million in jewelry in 2007, according to the Herald.
