How confident is LaVar Ball that his younger sons LiAngelo and LaMelo will join Lonzo in the league? It appears that he's got enough faith in LaMelo at least, and has already made a move suggesting that he believes a signature sneaker is in his future.

According ESPN's Darren Rovell, Big Baller Brand has filed to trademark "MeloBall1," which sounds an awful lot like the name of a future signature sneaker for LaMelo.

The Big Baller Brand has already filed to trademark "MeloBall1," presumably the future shoe of LaMelo Ball, who is a junior in high school.

This bit of planning is quite ambitious as LaMelo is still just a sophomore in high school. That being said, he's already "committed" to UCLA, so college ball should be in his future at least.

While Big Baller Brand has been widely mocked for the $495 price and questionable design of its first and only sneaker, the ZO2, the Ball family has managed to stay in headlines thanks to Lavar's always ridiculous comments and Lonzo's interesting footwear rotation.
