The classic black and red Air Jordan 1s are coming back in September, this time with a modern material update separating them from previous pairs. According to Sneaker Bar Detroit, the "Banned" Air Jordan 1 Flyknit will release on Sept. 9, 2017.
While the Jordan 1 has used Flyweave before via the MTM pack, this is the first time the sneaker is taking advantage of Nike Flyknit tech. With the new material comes a higher price: This pair of Jordan 1s will reportedly retail for $180.
The standard leather "Banned" Air Jordan 1 has been back on retail shelves a number of times since its infamous debut, the most recent being last September's Nike Air-branded version.
The Air Jordan 1 Flyknit will also be available in the original "Royal" colorway, although no release date for that pair has been announced.
