Adidas is continuing its Consortium Sneaker Exchange program, which pairs retailers around the world for sneaker designs, with a French-American connection. The latest collaboration will bring together New York's Alife and Paris' Starcow. For their Sneaker Exchange entry, the boutiques have remixed the Gazelle and Stan Smith retros.Â
The Gazelle is outfitted in a sand nubuck upper with a lighter sand suede detailing on the heel, toe box, tongue, and eyelets. Other details include French and American flags embroidered on the heel, 3M three stripes, an embossed white leather lining, and dual-branded insoles and tongue tags.Â
The Stan Smith takes an inverted approach to the Gazelle's colorway. It features an embossed white leather upper and a sand-colored leather liner. This pair also dons the same flag embroidery and branding details as the Gazelle.Â
The Alife x Starcow Adidas Consortium Exchange sneakers will release exclusively through Alife, Starcow, alife.nyc, and starcowparis.com on July 20 for $150 each. A global release will follow on July 29 at Adidas Consortium retailers. The shoes will be available at the following Consortium stores in North America:
