Adidas has another sneaker on the way in the same vein as the NMD and the Iniki, two popular models that look to update the brand's heritage with modern tech.

The Swift Run takes a look back at Adidas' archive and finds inspiration in 1980s running silhouettes. The debut white colorway features a Primeknit upper with blue and pink yarn accents throughout. Contrast comes in the form of a cream ankle collar and three stripes branding. The pair is finished off with a white EVA midsole, black outsole, and Torsion system in the midfoot.

This shoe appears to take some design cues from newer models as well. The toe box has a pattern similar to the one seen on the Ultra Boost 3.0, and from afar there is even some resemblance to the Ultra Boost Uncaged

The Adidas Swift Run debuts in both men's and women's colorways on July 27.
