After unveiling a Primeknit version of one retro Kobe Bryant model, Adidas is showing off another new spin on an old sneaker from his signature line today. This time the brand reworks the Crazy 1, one of the more recognizable shoes from Bryant's bygone Adidas line.

This new iteration of the Crazy 1 (a shoe originally known as "The Kobe") stays true to the mid-top silhouette while adding in new features. The Crazy 1 ADV has a premium grey nubuck across the upper, as well as an interior neoprene booty for improved lockdown and comfort.

Adidas hopes that this minimalist approach to the basketball model will render the shoe more wearable for lifestyle purposes.

The Adidas Crazy 1 ADV releases on Aug. 5 for $140 via, and at select Adidas retailers.
