Following a stellar season, James Harden has a new Adidas sneaker on the way. This new model, dubbed the Harden BTE, looks to be a toned down version of Harden's first signature model, the Harden Vol. 1.
Although Adidas is continuing their run of Harden's first signature with recently announced Lifestyle colorways, this is a new silhouette for the Harden line. This model seems to keep the same basic layout of the Harden Vol. 1, while swapping out its materials. Primeknit has been replaced with a ventilated mesh, Boost has been replaced with Bounce, and the leather shroud from the Harden Vol. 1 has also received a makeover in favor of a smaller toe cap. All of these changes will likely result in a cheaper alternative for fans of the Houston Rockets star.
A few colorways have already surfaced, including all-black and grey/yellow iterations. The Harden BTE is currently an Asia-exclusive model, but may see a stateside release at some point.
