It was around this time last year when Stephen Curry was the signature athlete behind the most uncool pair of sneakers in the NBA. Curry's Under Armour Curry 2 Low was subjected to heavy ridicule on social media platforms, compared to everything from nurse shoes to orthopedics. The reigning MVP took the jokes in stride and Under Armour reportedly did solid business with the sneakers, but numbers for the Curry line have been down this season. Hoping to reverse the slide, UA had Curry debut his latest sneaker, the Curry 4, during the NBA Finals.
General feedback for the mid has been positive, but there's also a low-top that Curry is practicing in. Spotted during today's session in Oakland, the Curry 4 Low arrives in the staple white-based "Chef" colorway, complemented by metallic branding. Last week, the Curry 4 Low surfaced in black.
According to Under Armour, the Curry 4 Low will launch along with the mid this fall.
