Historically, the most maligned NFL players are star wide receivers with big personalities. Terrell Owens, Chad Johnson and Randy Moss immediately come to mind, while New York Giants wideout Odell Beckham is making a healthy amount of headlines these days.

Fresh off signing a record contract extension Nike, Beckham returned to Giants camp this week with a message for the media displayed on his cleats. The work of his go-to customizer Kickasso, Beckham's Nike Vapor Untouchable cleats featured the logos of sports outlets such as ESPN, TMZ and the New York post, with "SHHHHH!!!" painted in red over them.

Beckham has often been criticized by the media for his on-field "antics," but the numbers don't lie—he currently shares the record for most catches through a player's first three seasons in the NFL.
