Jordan Brand is adding another training shoe to its repertoire with the unveiling of the Jordan Trainer 2 Flyknit. The shoe is inspired by Michael Jordan's own training regimen and infamous "breakfast club" workouts.
This trainer's upper utilizes a more durable and supportive new Flyknit pattern. The design also features a mid-foot strap, for a more locked-down fit, and Nike Zoom Air cushioning. Other details include a translucent outsole, cement print on the strap, and logo behind the tongue to represent the aforementioned workouts.
This is the first time Jordan Brand has utilized Nike's popular Flyknit technology on one of its performance models. The brand will also be taking the popular technology to its retro models with the release of an Air Jordan 1 Flyknit later this year.
The all-black colorway of the Jordan Trainer 2 Flyknit will officially release on July 1 through select retailers and jordan.com for $140, although it looks like Finish Line already has pairs available online.
