In golf circles, caddie John McLaren is known for wearing wild high-cut socks bearing patterns and graphics. However, his sneaker game also impresses.

Today, many viewers of the U.S. Open noticed McLaren assisting his pro, 14th ranked Paul Casey, in a pair of "Metallic Red" Air Jordan 1s and somewhat matching Jimmy Butler Stance socks. This isn't McLaren's first rodeo, though. It turns out that he frequently wears hoop shoes on the course, including pairs from Kyrie Irving's signature line and Nike Dunks. Judging by his Instagram feed, Casey, a Nike athlete, is also fond of cool sneakers.
