Adidas Takes a Shot at Nike's Football Uniforms for Arizona

The war between Nike and Adidas continues to heat up as shots are being fired in the football category.

On Tuesday, Arizona Football unveiled its newly designed uniforms by Nike, showcasing a variety of different looks and combinations.

The Twitter account of the student section for rival Arizona State, an Adidas-sponsored school, responded with a snarky joke.

For Adidas, the obvious thing to do in this situation would be to sit it out, but they couldn't resist putting their Twitter fingers to work.

It's worth pointing out that the original tweet was directed at the Adidas Soccer account and someone made it a point to jump on the U.S.Football account to clap back. As these things tend to play out, the tweet was deleted, but not before other Twitter users reacted to the burn.
