Nobody who knows anything about sneakers is going to mistake this shoe for a pair of Yeezys. That being said, it has the same modern runner look and Primeknit/Boost combination as the 350. Plus, unlike the Yeezys, these are actually easy to buy.

Adidas has a handful of models that are pretty clearly inspired by Kanye West's footwear designs, many of them falling in the Tubular line. One of the closest Yeezy approximations is the Tubular Shadow Knit, a model with a similar shape overall.

Is the Adidas Yeezy 350 Boost just a hyped-up Roshe? When images of the shoe first surfaced, that was the criticism that many leveled against it. For people looking for a cozy silhouette but not looking to pay Yeezy prices, this is an option.

If anything, the Nike LunarCharge owes its DNA to the Adidas NMD, another sneaker that combines archival models with contemporary tech. But, both still fall in the same silhouette category as the Yeezys with their sharp runner shapes and soft cushioning platforms.

The Adidas Alpha Bounce takes influence from not only the Yeezy line but also the Ultra Boost. While it lacks the tech found in those two models, it also rings up at a more affordable price point.

If Kanye West were a professional athlete and the Yeezy was designed for performance, the Tubular Doom could be considered the team model of the line. It might not be the model you actually want, but it could possibly get the job done.
