Is the Nike KD 10 Too Much Like the KD 9?

Fear of God, LaVar Ball, Nike KD 10 and Jordan Brand's Los Angeles stores discussed in Episode 5 of Sole Collector's "Full Size Run."

Sole Collector's Full Size Run is back with Episode 5, in which Rich "Maze" Lopez and Brendan Dunne recap the biggest sneaker stories of the week. This time, the duo tackles Jordan Brand's new LA store, LaVar Ball's latest demand, the surprising success of the Adidas Iniki, fake Boost balls, Fear of God x Vans and much more.

Additionally, the topic of the Nike KD 10 comes up, and whether or not the shoe is different enough from its predecessor.

"They're a lot more evolutionary than revolutionary," said Lopez about Nike's recent signature sneaker efforts. "I miss the original Air Jordan days, when every year was something completely different."

Dunne isn't against the strategy of updating signature models, but believes Nike missed the mark with the KD 10.

"I'm not averse to this whole iterative thing Nike is doing where the shoe doesn't look totally different year to year, and I don't mind that it has Flyknit again, but I just think they could have done more here," said Dunne.
