Most fans are unaware that theatre has been a passion of Kyrie Irving's since childhood, when he starred in school productions. Though Irving is now known for his work on a different stage, he hasn't forgotten about the art that inspired his path to the NBA.

For the Cleveland Cavaliers' second round game against the Toronto Raptors earlier tonight, Irving took the court in a Nike Kyrie 3 PE bearing lightning bolt embroidery. While the easy explanation would have been his lightning quick crossover, the full story, according to Nike, is tied to one of his favorite plays and films—Grease. In particular, the bolt graphics from Danny Zuko's famous '48 Ford Deluxe have been carried over to the sneaker's quarters.

Wearing his "Greased Lightning" PE, Irving finished with 22 points and 11 assists in the Cavs' 125-103 victory.
